Kun Tsan
Kun Tsan was a native of Wu-ling, Hunan. His style names were Shih-chi and Chieh-chiu, and he often called himself Tsan-tao-jen. His original surname was Liu. His mother died when Kun Tsan was a child. At the end of the Ming dynasty he moved to a temple in the Dragon Mountains, and later lived on the Ox Head Mountain in Chin-ling (Nanking). He excelled, at painting landscapes for which he formed his own pattern.
